Yes, I gave Halloween nail art another try!!
I used "Too Much Gossip" which is a pale orange creme polish by Misa. This polish was one of the many I procured in my Nails Night Out swap last weekend. I absolutely LOVE Misa polish, so I grabbed it up as soon as I saw it. I actually gave up "Candy Corn" in the swappage, so it's like this one took it's place. So, the orange was the base and I made French tips using "Tar" by Revoln's "Street Wear" line, one that I'd never heard of before. I got quite a few of those while swapping in New York. I used guides that I received in a nice package I received from the nice people who make the Nailene products you can find in any drugstore (Rite-Aid, Walgreen's, CVS, Duane Reade) or Wal-Mart. They sent me a nice load of stuff that I plan on sharing soon!
Anyways, I added a green glittery flourish to the tips to really set if off and it reminded me of the good ol' traditional Halloween symbol, Mr. Jack O' Latern!!
"Too Much Gossip" took 2 good coats to match bottle opacity, but was a little bit more streaky than "Candy Corn" was. "Tar" is the most perfect black I've EVER used! This black polish wouldn't need more than 1 coat on it's own. My daughter used it and said "Wow! This black polish is POTENT!" *lol*
